This recipe takes all the good things we love on pizza and combines them with egg noodles to form a great, one-dish casserole to feed your family.
Pre-packaged crescent roll dough gets baked into a single rectangle, then topped with ranch dressing-spiked cream cheese and crunchy vegetables.
This is a very simple crust that will take some practice to perfect, unless you already know how to toss a pizza. Two preparation methods are given to choose from: an overnight rise in the refrigerator and the more conventional sponge-rise approach.
A little whole-wheat flour makes this pizza crust chewy and flavorful. The three-crust yield means you can freeze some for later use.
Melted mozzarella cheese sits on top of grilled beef burgers in this pizza-inspired sandwich. A seasoned tomato sauce is quickly cooked in the microwave.
The sauce on this pizza is a mixture of butter, olive oil, garlic, sun-dried tomato pesto, herbs and Parmesan cheese. It’s topped with a fresh tomato, spinach, onion and feta cheese.
Bread flour has a higher gluten content and so makes a durable dough that holds its own against the weight of all the yummy pizza toppings.
